Members of the Mater Dei Drumline proudly display their 1st Place trophy which they won at the 22nd Annual Mozingo Marching Percussion Competition on Saturday, August 27, at Francis Howell North High School. The Drumline competed in Class B at the event. With drumline members are Paul Josias, Drumline director, and Darrien Guy, snare tech for the drumline.
The Mater Dei booth at the Kirchenfest was manned on Saturday evening by cheerleaders Lexi Schleper, Emily Deeba, Clare Chiarolanza, and Haley Johnson, cheerleading coach Amber Rankin, and head football coach Jim Stiebel. Also volunteering throughout the weekend, but not pictured, were members of the Mater Dei football team, Coach Chad Rakers and members of his Lady Knights volleyball team, Coach Travis Gebke, and members of the Mater Dei administration.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) officers for the 2011-2012 school year are Luke Foppe – Reporter, Jon Ang – President, Clare Chiarolanza – Treasurer, Sarah Pollmann – Secretary, and Ellen Toennies – Vice President. The FBLA moderator is Mrs. Jackie Chiarolanza.
The freshmen are settling into a routine like enjoying lunch on the patio.
