Mater Dei is proud to announce that the Class of 2016 earned an average ACT composite score of 24.4 (state average 20.8).  Thus, the Class of 2016 not only earned the highest score in the area, but also tied the Class of 2014 for the highest score in Mater Dei history!  The average ACT subject scores were also exceptional: English 24.1, Mathematics 23.8, Reading 25.1, and Science 24.0.

For students enrolled in a college preparatory curriculum (known as “core or more”), the Class of 2016 made Mater Dei history by earning the highest average ACT composite score, as well as the highest average ACT subject scores!  (A “core” curriculum includes four years of English and three or more years each of mathematics, science and social studies.) Specifically, the average scores were as follows: Composite 25.7, English 25.7, Mathematics 25.2, Reading 26.2, and Science 25.1.
