In week three of South Central Scholastic League (SCSL) play, the Scholar Knights buzzed their way to three wins on Tuesday, November 15.  The Knights defeated Cumberland (360-190), Hillsboro (390-240), and Litchfield (490-190).  John Hund led the Knights with 12 total toss ups, followed by Ethan Schumacher (7), Ben Logullo (6), Zach Honor (3), Nick Toennies (3), Alex Rivera (2) and Drew Potthast (1).  Alex Norris, John Hilmes, Anthony Lepore, Mackenzie Horstmann, Minh Le, and Becca Moss, Jaden Meadows and Ethan Guillot also contributed to the victories.

The winning streak continued on Monday, November 21, as the Scholar Knights defeated Murphysboro (470-175) in the quarterfinals of the televised Scholastic Hi-Q Tournament at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale.  (Episode air date not yet announced.)  Ben Logullo led the team with six toss ups, followed by John Hund (4), Nick Toennies (3) and Ethan Shumacher (3).  With the win, the Scholar Knights advance to the semifinals against Carbondale next Monday, November 28.

The Scholar Knights are now 11-0 for the season.
