GOLDEN KNIGHTS

Beginning with the 2008 Homecoming, the Office of Institutional Advancement began recognizing those alumni who have graduated from Mater Dei 50+ years ago.  An invitation is sent to them to attend the Homecoming game and they are introduced at half-time and an informal reception following the game takes place in the new Gym.  Following the event a certificate honoring them as a “Golden Knight” is sent to those who are attending for the first time.  For our first event we had 48 Golden Knights in attendance.  This year we are excited to include the Class of 1961, as they join the ranks of the "Golden Knights."

THE PRINCIPAL'S TROPHY

Beginning with the 2005-2006 Annual Fund Drive, The Office of Institutional Advancement is introducing a Class challenge for those classes which will be celebrating their 5 year increment.  The Trophy will be awarded to that Class which has the highest percentage of participation from its members.  The cut-off for contributions to the 2009-2010 Fund Drive will be June 30, 2010.  There will be five separate Trophies one for every set of 5 year class increments.  The Trophies will be kept on display in the Office of Institutional Advancement.

we would like to include pictures from your class reunions on this website

When you take pictures at your Class Reunion, we would like to post some of them on this site to share with the Mater Dei Community and those from your class who were unable to make the reunion.  Please share the memories.
