BAND PARENTS
Band Parents
meets on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 pm in the band
room. The parents dedicate themselves to providing both
financial support and volunteers for programs and activities
that enhance the experiences of our musicians.
In the fall,
Band Parents sells concessions and spirit items at all home
football games. They then host a chicken dinner and a trivia
night in the spring. Additional small fundraisers, which vary
each year, are used to raise funds to offset the cost of major
activities, such as recent trips to Disney World, Chicago,
and New York.
As a result
of their fundraising efforts, Band Parents has provided funds
for uniforms, instruments, instrument repairs, flags, and music,
in addition to providing a chili supper and a pizza party after
marching competitions.
