In order to truly experience the Mater Dei spirit, prospective students are invited to join us for a day of school!  By shadowing a knight, prospective students gain valuable insight into the life of our students, from the classrooms to the lunchroom.

NOTE: When planning a visit, please note that due to our having no school, early dismissal, or semester exams, we do not recommend scheduling shadowing on the following days during the 2011 – 2012 school year: September 5, 16 and 30; October 7 and 10; November 11, 23, 24 and 25; December 19, 20 and 21; January 2, 13 and 16; February 17 and 20; March 5 and 16; April 4, 5, 6 and 9; May 4, 25, 28, 30 and 31; June 1.

 Shadowing FYI’s

Dress Code: Our students wear polo shirts or sweatshirts with a Mater Dei logo and khaki pants.  Therefore, please do not wear jeans.

Arrival Time: Our school day begins at 8:10 am and ends at 2:50 pm.  Therefore, please arrive at the main office by 8:00 am in order to receive your visitor pass.

Lunch: Lunch is on us!  Our daily selection includes a “traditional” lunch (varies daily), hamburgers, deli sandwiches, salad, french fries, nachos, chips, dessert snacks, milk, soda, and water.  On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, we also offer pizza.  Please note that a microwave is available should you choose to bring your own lunch.

Reading Material: Please bring a book or a magazine to read in case you visit a class in which the students have a test.
