On December 1, the Scholar Knights travelled to Greenville to take on the Comets, as well as Mt. Olive, in Bunker Hill. The Knights defeated Greenville on the final question to win 200-185. Tad Logullo led the team with three toss-ups. Mary Helen Otrembiak and Ellen Maue scored two toss-ups each, and Mackenzie McCray answered the final toss up to give the Knights the victory.
In match two, the Scholar Knights rolled to a 215-20 win. Joseph Hummert led the team with four toss-ups. Jon Ang scored three toss-ups, Mackenzie McCray had two toss-ups, and Mary Helen Otrembiak and Alex Toennies added on toss-up each.
In the final match, Mater Dei cruised to a 140-65 win. Jon Ang led the team with two toss-ups. Mary Helen Otrembiak and Mackenzie McCray each scored one.
On December 3, the Scholar Knights traveled to Mt. Olive for the SCSC Conference Tournament. During round-robin play, the Knights defeated Piasa Southwestern, Metro-East Lutheran, Vandalia, and Bunker Hill to advance to the A-Flight Championship Tournament. The Scholar Knights finished fourth, at 5-4. Alex Toennies led the team, and was named to the All-Tournament Team with thirteen toss-ups. Mary Helen Otrembiak scored nine toss-ups. Jon Ang had eight toss-ups, while Ellen Maue and Mackenzie McCray scored five each. Tad Logullo had four toss-ups, Andrew Dreas had two toss-ups, and Anna Quitmeyer added one toss-up. At the Junior Varsity level, Mater Dei also went 5-4, winning the C-Flight.
