On Monday, January 30, the Mater Dei community celebrated Student Appreciation Day! Because we have a winning combination of faith, knowledge and service, students enjoyed wearing clothing of their favorite sports teams. In addition, recognizing the continued dedication of our students, we began the day with a bit of relaxation by enjoying the movie Cars as a school community. This movie reminds us of the importance of true friendship, community, and service and self-sacrifice for the benefit of others. Over 400 students in the gym and not a peep was heard! Finally, Mr. Litteken treated students to a free ice cream sandwich at lunch. We thank Howard Rakers of Prairie Farms for donating the treats.
