On Tuesday, January 31, the Mater Dei community celebrated Faith in our Nation Day. Because we are crazy about our faith, students and faculty enjoyed wearing crazy clothing. In addition, in their English classes, students wrote letters of gratitude and prayer to our service men and women as a means of sharing our faith in the nation. The letters will be mailed through the A Million Thanks organization. Finally, we kicked off our “Pray for our Military Campaign” at the boys basketball game, where fans were invited to take a toy soldier to place in their home as a means of reminding them to pray for our service men and women.
