The Scholar Knights closed the first half of their season on Thursday, December 13 with a trip to Columbia. The Knights fell in overtime against Columbia 220-210. The Knights rebounded in the next two matches, though, snatching a close win against Freeburg 240-220 and defeating East St. Louis 200-60. On the season, the Scholar Knights are 13-19. Junior Anna Klostermann leads the Scholar Knights with 76 toss ups.  Other varsity scorers on the year include Luke Zurliene, 48; Ben Wilke, 37; Taylor Goring, 19; Allison Von Bokel, 12; Jun Moon, 9; Abby Kay, 7; Taylor Foster, 4; Kylie Stockman, 4; Alex Brandenburger, 4; and Valerie Hund, 1.  The Scholar Knights will resume their season on January 10, but they can be seen in action on Scholastic Hi-Q on January 6 on WSIU-8.
