Zach advanced to the sectional after earning second place overall at the IHSA Boys Bowling Mt. Vernon Regional with a total pin-fall of 1,267 over a six-game series (only eleven pins behind first place). He also had the second high game overall with a score of 276.
As a team, the Bowling Knights ended their season with a seventh place finish at the regional.
