Masks did not hinder our Mater Dei spirit during Spirit Week 2020, which was held October 26, 2020, through October 30, 2020! Students, faculty, and administration enjoyed the following themed days: Monday – Come As You Are Day, Tuesday – Jersey Day, Wednesday – Class Color Day, Thursday – Spirit Day, and Friday – Halloween Costume Day.

The halls were filled with color on 2020 Spirit Week Color Day! Mrs. Celia Kannall (center), wearing the faculty’s assigned “color” of animal print, posed with seniors wearing their assigned color of blue. Freshmen wore red, sophomores wore green, and juniors wore pink.
On 2020 Spirit Week Halloween Costume Day, (from left) Genesis Contreras, Ana Avalos, Aubrey Durbin, Elizabeth Scott, Cameron Foster, and Laura Courtois each portrayed a different outfit worn by One Direction singer Harry Styles.
