Congratulations to senior Olivia Hemker, our Student of the Week for the week of February 1!  In her nomination, art teacher Mrs. Vicki Moylan stated, “As a student in my Portfolio of Advanced Art Projects, Olivia works independently on projects of her choice.  She not only works on her own painting, but also draws on the computer. She is a real joy to have as student!  I wish her the best with her art adventures following graduation!”  Olivia is the daughter of Travis and Jeanna Hemker of Carlyle and a member of St. Teresa Catholic Church in Marydale.

Congratulations to junior Julia Millikin, our Student of the Week for the week of February 8!  In his nomination, Director of Bands Mr. Alex Normansell stated, “Julia’s work ethic and grit are characteristics that I strive to teach and to foster in all of my students. Every day, she comes into her music classes ready to learn new information, and she asks questions on how to apply new concepts.  Not only is Julia academically focused, but she always has a smile on her face and a positive, can-do attitude. She is a remarkable young woman, and I have every expectation that she will go on to achieve great things.  Congratulations, Julia!”  Julia is the daughter of Bill and Ann Millikin of Lebanon and a member of St. Clare Catholic Church.

Congratulations to senior Tyler Jasper, our Student of the Week for the week of February 15!  In his nomination, Building Trades instructor Mr. Mark Huelskamp stated, “Tyler is an excellent student in Building Trades!  He is very helpful and always willing to complete projects.  I know that after showing him or explaining to him what I need completed, he will not only complete the job, but complete it correctly.  I am happy I have had the opportunity to have him in class and to get to know him.  Congratulations, Tyler!”  Tyler is the son of Corey and Jen Jasper of Breese and a member of St. Dominic Catholic Church.
