English Department Chair Mrs. Pam Zurliene (left) accepts a $500 Touchstone Energy grant from Clinton County Electric Cooperative representative Carrie Trame (right). To supplement a non-fiction unit for her English II Honors students, Mrs. Zurliene will utilize the funds to purchase titles that include biography, history, human rights, science, environmental, religious and cultural issues. “Having a greater variety of topics and allowing students to make their own choices will enhance their excitement and appreciation for reading nonfiction,” stated Mrs. Zurliene.
