Congratulations to theology teacher Mrs. KK Schneider, our Disciple of the Week for the week of March 5!  In her nomination, Mrs. Judy Kampwerth stated, “It is my honor to award the Disciple of the Week to Kathryn Schneider!   KK is dedicated to our mission to uplift the spiritual life of Mater Dei’s students and faculty.  She is not only a passionate teacher, but also a passionate advocate for prayer and the Works of Mercy, which she lives out personally and at Mater Dei.  KK is so active with the Teens for Life and St. Vincent de Paul Society – organizing prayer at abortion clinics and our students’ trip to the March for Life in Washington, DC; coordinating our weekly mission collections and individual collections for people in need; and promoting Sacred Brothers, Sacred Sisters.  Finally, KK works hard in the classroom, watching over her freshmen and sophomores, and is helping with the next class for teachers working on their Catechist Certification through the Diocese.  Thanks for all you do, KK – you are special!”
