On September 12, the Mater Dei student body gathered in the gym for a prayer service with the focus to remember those who died and to reflect on Jesus’ call to love others, especially our enemies.

Conducting the prayer service were members of the MD Religion department, Mr. Darr, Fr. Tuttle, and Mr. Litteken. The service included saying prayers, listening to a reading and the Gospel, reciting Psalm 23, taking part in a reflection, responding to petitions, praying the Our Father together, and watching videos to open and close the service.
